Today was so much fun. We had a playdate @ chuckie cheese. Then ice cream and cookies at the mall. Even though kayla was awake for about 30 min it was just nice getting out of the house. :)

One month update!!!!

She will be one month tomorrow but I want to go ahead and update today because I’m bored. I can’t believe how fast the time has gone by. I have also found out how hard being a single mother is its definitely a 2 person job. I have to make sure she is sleeping just to get anything done for myself for ex. To shower, clean up, do my hair, or even go to the restroom.
But anyway,
Birth weight 5.1oz now she weighs 6.15oz
She will eat 3 or 4 oz every 3-4 hours if I don’t Bf, then she just pulls off.
She isn’t on any kind of schedule and does not sleep through the night & I’m ok with that I sleep when she sleeps and she will only cry when she is hungry so that’s when we wake up
Loves to sleep all day with a few hours awake in between & then fight her sleep every night around 2 or 3 in the morning.
She always tries to lift her head and keep it up for a few seconds.
She hates baths.
And she loves being close to her mommy. That’s pretty much all I can think of at the moment.
Oh yeah. She is still in newborn and Premie clothes. Some 0-3 month she can fit, but none of her cute outfits.

Usually I just BF. But today I wanted to pump to make bottles, usually I get about 4-5oz from each side.. now nothing came out of my right and a little came out of my left.
Is that normal to have less milk or something?

I can’t stand when kayla fights her sleep its the absolute worst; its been hours she keeps crying, she is cleaned and fed, she will doze off wake up and scream like someone is killing her.
Right about now I want to find the tallest building and jump off.

I called the pedi for kayla because that damn rash still hasn’t gone away its been about 2 week now so they prescribed nystatin I really hope it works because I hate when she yells at the top of her lungs when I change her. Poor baby.
Also she has gained 12oz. She is now 6lbs 15oz.

Lol thank you. And she sleeps very good but I wake her up every 3 or 4 hrs to feed her. Most of the time she falls right back to sleep sometimes she will fight it then get really grumpy. Also yes it is the best feeling ever sometimes a little frustrating & overwhelming but just seeing that little cute face and knowing they need you & depend on you for everything makes all the negative go away. It’s amazing :)
